At Maxibern, we aim for 100% customer satisfaction. Whether you are buying hardware, digital goods, or hiring us for a project, our policy ensures a transparent process.

1. Digital Products (Instant Downloads/Keys)

For items such as software license keys, digital templates, and downloadable content purchased from our shop:

  • Final Sale: Once a digital product key has been delivered via email or the download link has been accessed, the sale is final and non-refundable.

  • Technical Issues: If a digital key is found to be invalid or “already used” upon delivery, we will provide a working replacement immediately. Please report such issues within 24 hours of purchase.

  • Compatibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their system meets the requirements before purchasing digital software.

2. Physical Products (Hardware & Accessories)

For laptops, printers, and peripherals:

  • 7-Day Return Window: You may return physical items within 7 days if they are in their original, unopened packaging with all seals intact.

  • Defective Goods: If an item is DOA (Dead on Arrival) or has a factory defect, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.

  • Restocking Fee: Returns for “change of mind” on opened items (if accepted) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

3. Service-Based Projects (Web & Software Development)

  • Pre-Start: Full refund minus a 10% admin fee if cancelled before work begins.

  • In-Progress: Refunds are calculated based on completed milestones.

  • Post-Delivery: No refunds are issued once the final project (website, app, or branding) is handed over.

4. Non-Refundable Items & Services

  • Domain & Hosting: Fees paid for domain registration (.gh, .com, etc.) and hosting are non-refundable as they are registered to your name instantly.

  • Consumables: Opened ink cartridges, toners, and paper.

  • Ad Spend: Funds already spent on Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn ads.

5. Refund Timeline & Process

  • Application: Email support@maxibern.com with your Order ID and reason for return.

  • Inspection: Physical items must be returned to our office near Pentecost University College for inspection.

  • Payout: Approved refunds are paid via the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days.
